Cityscapes and Car Windows

April 23, 2014 • By

Today I’m having fun with Passion Passport’s photo challenge on Cityscapes.  I love snapping a pic of a skyline or downtown street scene as my husband drives through a busy city.  (And to be honest, he lives for big city driving. He loves the challenge and intensity of it.  And since he’s good at it – I just sit back, stick my iPhone out the window and check out the view.)

Cities have such great angles and juxtapositions.  There’s always something to catch your eye.

Sometimes the view is as just as iconic as you expect it to be.

Then again, sometimes a car is not a car, so you just have to snap where you are, in your transportation of choice.  This one, from a Venice water taxi.

Tomorrow, I’ll post some cityscapes taken on foot.
