Travel + Leisure Magazine has announced the winners of their 10th annual design awards. The 2014 winners include a cultural center in Mexico City (pictured above), which looks like a place I’d like to spend a few days…
The awards cover everything from hotels and restaurants to travel clothing. The new Louvre-Lens Museum is included of course. The luggage winner is Victorinox. I’ve not tried this particular carry-on, but I like the clean lines and efficiency of it.
Ian Shrager’s collaboration with Marriott in London gets a nod, of course. And there is a fabulous bridge in Norway that makes me want to visit, even though I know nothing else of the place. And the tree houses in a Portuguese park are now on the bucket list.
